Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

Dayaroo helps households keep track of bills, documents and reminders. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We do not collect or store card or bank login details. You pay your bills in your own banking app.

How we use it

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Services we use

We use trusted providers to run Dayaroo. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia.

Sharing with your household

Nothing is shared unless you invite someone. Members of your household can see the household's items; each person can edit only their own. You can remove a member at any time.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete individual items in the app at any time. To delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with.

Security

Your data is protected by access rules so only you and the household members you invite can see it. Uploaded files are stored privately. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a serious breach affects you.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you. If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact us first. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
